| I did not immediately jump to any conclusions. I have visited their other venues, read every word of the operating statements and other documents they submitted with their application and followed their facebook page to see what they are promoting. I don't know who you are referring to when you say people always object to something new. This is the only new development I've had an issue with, and it's based on the facts of the proposal. If this was something on the same scale as the market hall at fulham broadway, I wouldn't have any issue with it. It is the scale of this venue and the fact that Incipio promote to large groups and entice people in with unlimited drinks offers and other promotions that are designed to encourage a piss-up - that is why this proposal will lead to excessive drinking and destructive behaviour. The committee's decision was not sensible, it was a rollover. |
