| It’s very interesting to know that use by ARK (Elliott) pupils of the grass pitches of the Roehampton Playing Fields was a key factor justifying the the 2012 decision to sell the Elliott playing fields (now Putney Rise) land, creating a CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) financial reserve. ARK is now a school of over 1,000 pupils so the need for the Roehampton Playing Fields grass pitches to remain as they are seems undisputable, and it would be good to know that the CIL reserve can now be utiliised to provide whatever upgrade is needed. |
