| The reasoning behind this change of route for both busses is so that people in the new development will have a five minute walk to a bus stop. Well a lot of people from the two bus routes as they are now will lose the ability to catch a bus within five minutes walk from where they live. Hence the introduction of these bus routes in the first place. It just shows how Wandsworth is giving their new tenants total priority above what the present residents have or need. Taking every aspect of services to suit these new developments. It just goes to show how much regard WBC have for the people responsible for electing them. I use the 424 all the time & now find the service invaluable in helping me get about as I'm sure many other people do. These new developments bring nothing but grief & hardship to the present population in my opinion. |
