Stephen - if you read my posts more objectively you would see no innuendo or smear.  Here are the facts which the rest of the World is aware of.

Starbucks' reputation has long been mired with a number of issues, not least European Tax avoidance.  Other matters include the failure to demonstrate the "fair trade" they proclaim, failure to ban gun-carrying in their US outlets, and opening several UK outlets without planning permission.

An issue of Consumer Reports described Starbucks coffee as "strong, but burnt and bitter enough to make your eyes water instead of open."  I agree.

www.newyorker.com/news/sporting-scene/sponsoring-fifa-corruption

recently carried this very interesting article mentioning McDonalds and other FIFA sponsors, questioning the corporate deals between themselves and an utterly corrupt Assocation.

Robert Boland, an NYU Law professor who focuses on sports matters states:

"The investigation is pointing towards a tight connection between sponsor dollars and bribes."

"The question is, what does this do.  Is the sponsor liable?  Is there a new legal standard for liability?  What did a company know and when?"

I suggest Stephen, that instead hurling libellous abuse and false accusations at others when they disagree with you, you embrace the wider world beyond SW15 and research the facts.  If you want to drink awful coffee in dodgy US outlets in our High Street, whilst castigating a local enterprise, that's your choice, but not mine.

I am not, as you repeatedly claim, "sitting in an off-shore tax haven" but have a husband who like thousands of others has been posted overseas to work for a British company.  It is a measure of your crass parochial ignorance that you fail to realise that the UAE is not Jersey or the Caymans, but a country which simply does not levy income tax.  Those who work in Singapore, Hong Kong or Saudi, pay taxes according to where they work, and pay UK income tax on any income accrued in the UK.

Dame Helen described her long expletive-filled rant outside a theatre where she was yet again playing the Queen, as "thespian language" and made a grovelling apology to those she had wrongly abused.  Andrew Mitchell, known ominously to his friends as "Thrasher" described his foul words as "Anglo-Saxon, but the judge decreed that "Mitchell's capacity for menace finds its outlet in both a foul temper and foul language."

The repulsive Elton John has just caused a female steward to break down in tears at a gig in Gloucester because he went off on yet another foul public rant.  National treasure, Kate Moss, was escorted off an Easyjet because of "disruptive behaviour"
She was filmed some years ago taking class A drugs but got off Scot-free.  What kind of 'role models" are these people, and why should we be surprised when the air turns blue in Priory Lane, where Kate spent a few expensive weeks herself?

One rule for those who seek public life, and another for private individuals who are caught on camera.  This obnoxious pedantry has gone on too long - what exactly would you like, given that you disagree with the "derisory" Police decision?  A public flogging on Putney Common, the closure of Brew?

Wake up and smell the coffee.  Your bullying behaviour is little better than that of Mr Wells, who has apologised - you have not.
