| I have just signed up to this site as my neighbour recommended it following my mugging a few weeks ago. I have just read the previous posts - I think I am the girl you are referring to who got mugged on the top of Gamlen Road just off Clarendon Drive. It was 6pm on Tues 20th November and I was walking back from work talking on my iPhone. Two people on a scooter had been waiting at the white barriers and must have seen me coming - as I went around the corner from Clarendon Drive onto Gamlen Road one of them jumped off the back of the scooter and tried to take my phone. I screamed and wouldnt let go so ended up being a bit of a struggle. Very scary. I have lived in Putney for 6 years and have always felt safe so this has really affected me. |
