| Thanks Dave for confirming that it was on the southside. I know you said it was near the animal hospital but you didn't say what side of the road. No I am not blaming the Council for the mugging, but I thought it would make it easier for a scooter to get really close to a pedestrian, as there is no real kerb in places - I thought they just snatched the items as they went by on the scooter, I didn't know the passenger got off, that's why I wanted more details. As regards the one way sign, no that won't make any difference to muggings! That wasn't the point, it was something residents have mentioned to make this section of road safer for pedestrians and vehicles. Thanks for the information. It is just another thing residents have to be extra vigilant about. |
