| Nobody has actually said exactly in what location the mugging took place but my guess is that it was on the southside of the road between Gamlen and Charlwood Roads, where the pavement is very narrow indeed, making it incredibly easy for a scooter rider to get near to a pedestrian. I would like to see Wandsworth Council do something about this dreadful bit of pavement, it is so narrow that buggies are forced into the road to get past one another and it is incredibly difficult to manoeuvre a wheelchair along here because of the slope on the pavement. Residents have also complained because of cars driving along this pavement. How about the Council widening the pavement and as residents have suggested making it one way along here for vehicles. Anyway if I am wrong, could someone give more details of whereabouts the mugging took place. |
