| This is nothing to do with there but for the grace of God go I or mental health issues. This is regarding people who probably have more money than a few of us on here bacuse they don't pay their way - no tax, no nothing whikst the rest of us try our best. They steal, they leave places in a mess and they trespass - that is nothing to do with hard times or whatever. I know what it's like to be down on your uppers - may of us have probably had hard times but we haven't turned in to travellers. Travellers are travellers by choice - nothing else and I wish I could afford a clapped out banger to drive around in - let alone a few new vans!! And, for the record, I have every sympathy regarding mental illness - I will not go in to details on here so please do not accuse me of not being sympathetic towards those who are less fortunate or those who are suffering from mental illness as it's completely irrelevant to the issue of travellers on the common. And, just for the record, I'm very thankful that I have a roof over my head,etc, etc and am aware that homelessness is not a class issue and can affect those in super high powered jobs, buit there's a difference between homelessness and being a traveller! |
