| Fiona, it is good to see somebody else who is caring enough to think of & consider those people in Society who are less fortunate, than you or I am ! Regards, Roger Lee. PS. I remember a few years back on the News, a Homeless Person was highlighted, who had lost everything ! This person was a male, who use to have a 'High-Powered' Executive Job in the City ! His 'World' had collapsed from all around him & he was left destitute ! Which brings to mind the saying that my parents taught me when I was much younger - 'There but for the Grace of God go I !' This could just so easily happen to ANYONE of US in Society ! Which brings to mind another saying my parents taught me when I was much younger - 'ALWAYS give someone else a hand up, who is less fortunate than you ! Do NOT 'kick' somebody when they are down (on their luck) ! You might need that person's HELP in the future, or the help of somebody else !' |
