Roger, I can't agree with you enough! Having read your other post on another thread, I also appreciate your honesty. It is so true, "There but for the grace of God go I". I always have this at the back of my mind, because you simply don't know what the next day will bring. I have worked in social housing and more recently for a well known homeless charity: I am not a housing officer, I am involved in data management, however I do have a good understanding of issues such as homelessness and general social housing issues, such as the one you mention in your previous post re. the issue of mobility. There is so much more that I could add to this post, but I suppose we are all only too well aware of the need for more better quality and affordable housing in both the public and private sectors. Lastly, I read an article the other day: a city estate agent mentioning how wonderful it is was to have new city developments (expensive) , "great pads for his city clients"..nothing changes.
