| Cut the number of buses, move bus stops or change the engines away from diesel. Open up the side roads more to free the flow of traffic. I live on the high street i can hear the buses stop/starting down the high st right now. Looking at the high street there isn't any space for them to stop with out causing a traffic jam. All of the foot crossing serve to halt traffic too. (and as you know stop/start traffic pollutes more) I can see/taste/smell all the fumes coming off the back of them. I wonder what results banning them for 1 day would yield in reduction of pollution |
