| "How do we change these mindsets?" What a patronising question. I'm happy to note that negative attitudes such as that have not prevailed in this old nugget of a debate on the Forum to date. If you seriously want to see the necessary change to air quality, why not campaign for fuel cell vehicles? Moaning about vehicles per se will achieve zero. TfL have commissioned some fuel cell buses and I wrote to the Mayor early/middle of last year asking for them to be introduced on routes through PHS but it transpires they will appear only on certain Central London routes (for impressing the tourists how "green" we are?) and we will not be getting any of them. So much for a commitment to improve our environment as huge fines from the EC for missing air quality targets loom! Nero and his fiddle? |
