A few years ago signs were put up in West Putney which stated that "Burglars are active in this area". My response at the time was "yes, but the police are not!" At that time the police station had been sold off to property developers to be converted into apartments for professional couples. What we were given was a police shop that is open 9 to 5. Guess what, the burglars know this. Come on Boris give us a proper police presence in Putney. |
