| A discussion forum, no less than a court of law, requires a knowledge of the facts of the case. Any judgment which is not based on factual knowledge is simply an expression of prejudice. You have evidently chosen to accept the word of the Rev. Sharon Hunt that she was a victim of racial abuse, but neither you nor any of us know what actually happened at the parish supper. If indeed she was racially abused, while parishioners sat in silence, then that is completely unacceptable. But it is also possible that the whole situation was the result of a misunderstanding. Why not wait until the facts emerge before issuing summary judgment? |
