| Steven 'Ivonne, it is perfectly legitimate to criticise Israel and Israeli politicians like Netanyahu. Many Israelis criticise their own government. The issue is whether the criticism is fair and proportionate. Often it is neither and sometimes it can border on antisemitism'. All the points you made are apposite and true. For some reason or another Israel is the pariah state and the only one that receives constant criticism. I do wish someone on this Forum would give their explanation as to why this is so. Mr Carter is obviously busy taken up with domestic issues so perhaps Ms Holliday could substitute. I would be very interested to read what she (or any other Palestinian apologist) says on the matter, but it is interesting that the situation arises during a world-wide increase in antisemitism and attacks on the Jewish state and individual Jews in other countries. My view is that it is part of a plan by Muslim states and individuals to dominate not only the Middle East but also Western Europe including the UK. This is I believe called Ummah. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was an antisemitic hoax and forgery purporting to detail a Jewish plot for global domination. The Hamas Charter describing the aim of Islamists to annihilate Israel and the Jews is not a hoax and can be read as the first step in the strategy for Ummah - Muslim global domination. This refers to the global community of Muslims united by faith, shared values, and collective responsibility, transcending geography, ethnicity, and nationality. Many Muslims think this will be brought about by jihad. But two pieces of good news that might indicate Islamisation at least in the UK seems to have hit a couple of bumps in the road. On the anniversary of the 6 October 2023 genocide of Jews in Gaza, a tasteless 'protest' (celebration more like) by a handful of Palestine supporting 'students was peacefully dispersed by a larger counter protest of Israeli supporters. And even more satisfying and in its way more significant of a change in political wind direction was the fact that the Great Breast Enhancer Zack Polanski was convincingly beaten in the Holborn St Pancras bye-election. The beginning of the end of the racist Greens ? Let's hope so. |
