| I agree with you, Richard. The percentages in Wandsworth and Hammersmith and Fulham are eyewatering (may I use the word usury?) and totally out of proportion when, at the same time, the government is saying at the same time that they are fighting to lower the cost of living.... Hmmmm. I have checked the tax bands in Manchester and they are extremely expensive. The disparity of charges is mind boggling. If the rates are based on property prices, then Manchester's council bands are theft. |
