| Mr Carter Thanks for the history lesson and your CV. But surely the issue here is a political one . Burnham wants to cut any grant to assist southern Councils like Wandsworth albeit they have over time shown to be hyper-efficient under Labour or Conservative administrations, and pass the gains to Councils 'oop north who are less so. Notably Birmingham who has not persuaded its bin men to collect domestic rubbish for nearly a year I believe. It's called equal benefiting of every post code or more truthfully hitting we rich Southerners to benefit the poor oppressed Northerners and keep their votes. You I would imagine would think that perfectly fine. |
