You use harass, a very emotive verb when in fact the real issue is whether or not civil servants should feel obliged to implement the policies of elected politicians who they are there to serve.

I think they should, and if they feel they are unable to do so be it for religious or political reasons, they should resign and live off their generous pensions.

Or get a job in the private sector with equivalent benefits of security, holiday allowance and pension rights.
