Thank you Gerry for trying to clarify that. However where are you getting your evidence from, that either MP is popular or unpopular? It seems you are projecting your criteria for popularity on to the Putney & Clacton constituents. What they vote for or against is just as important as voting. What they ask when in Parliament when there is just as important as attending. Fleur was a member of the government and in the UK we have collective government, I therefore do not find her popular - perhaps you do so we will have to differ. The true test will come at election time assuming that they manage to count the votes.
