Ok. I agree we could do a lot better than Fleur, in my personal opinion. But she spends a lot of time here, and is a hard working constituency representative. I might not agree with her on certain things, and I might find her approach quite top-down and not bottom-up, which irritates me about her. I think she will always do what the Party wants, and then ‘manage’ her constituency to avoid conflict etc.
Anyway, she is nothing like Farage who uses Clacton as a springboard for his own brand; they NEVER see him. He has done nothing at all for them. It was interesting hearing interviews with his constituents recently when he was in Washington  claiming the UK was like North Korea and Washington should consider imposing further tariffs on us! Many people in Clacton who voted him won’t do so again. Good on them.
