| I wonder if there has been any information about the cause of the pedestrian fatality on the URR crossing near East Putney station. Another dangerous place is the large crossing at the junction of the High St and URR. Buses going towards the river squeeze across blocking the view of the pedestrian light and leaving no room for anyone to cross. Unless you're brave enough to creep around the rear of the bus and hope no vehicle going east along URR hits you. But it's ridculous that pedestrians are afraid to cross a road on a crossing where they should be safe. They're not dashing into the middle of heavy traffic. What are our respresentatives doing! |
