Yes,I only make it across as the time signal is counting down to 2 or 3 When I was taught to drive, admittedly back in 1962, my driving instructor said at pedestrian crossings (only the Belisha Beacon type back then) said I must wait until the pedestrian reached the pavement before driving on. No to drive behind them while they were still on the crossing as sometimes they changed their mind and turned back. But that was another age and another world
