Sorry Richard are you saying that the UK is incapable of training and employing care workers in the UK?

Apparently some trained student nurses can't get jobs because the UK prefers to import them.

These argument bantered about by liberals, usually hide the issues around poor pay and conditions and what they really mean is that we should exploit some poor countries and import some cheap labour so we can pay them less!

The problem is, as we should all know by now, we need a long term solution. Not a short term solution applied every year for 30-40 years!

We should know how many care and nurses we need and train and pay appropriately.

Is that such a difficult concept?

I seem to recall they were using the same arguments for HGV drivers.

What I want to know is why do liberals want to pay people so little?

And why won't they just say what they actually mean?

The whole cycle of bring people into the UK as care workers on low pay and then them leaving to other sectors is well documented and has been highlighted on this forum.

So what is your point Richard?
