| Hi Gerry, Sorry playing catch-up. As the article indicates technological solutions will likely prolong the use of fossil fuels hence the lobbying. No doubt the Oil companies will have some schemes that attract tax incentives. Give them incentives to extract oil & gas rather than importing from Norway. Not costly backhanders for unproven technology that will soak up more money than a new UK nuclear power station! Not an endorsement of nuclear power just an illustration of cost over run. The amount of deforestation over centuries in the British Isles has not been addressed.
