| I'm no fan of Reform, obviously, but credit where it's due: Kent County Council leader Linden Kemkaran has written to Yvette Cooper claiming the new immigration white paper could shut the overseas route to recruitment in the care sector, which may represent up to a quarter of staff in it, and expressing his "grave concerns" about the proposals to reduce health and social care visas. https://www.kentonline.co.uk/kent/news/reform-leader-pleas-for-changes-to-immigration-white-paper-327185/ |
