| What is the point of voting if you believe politicians can not determine policy? If the government gives the Mayor money to install lifts and toilets why would we even need a mayor? We wouldn't! The Mayor is there to make decisions and he has decided that 20 mph signs, poorly designed & implemented LTN's and expanding the ULEZ and just about everything else including renaming train lines is a higher priority than step free access and toilets. Perhaps if we had a Mayor that used public transport and wasn't chauffeured around when not jet setting we would have step free access and toilets! As soon as we stop voting for politicians that do not use the services they manage we will get the required changes required! We are the Soviet Union were Ministers and Mayors get treated like royalty! Let them take the bus or tube like everyone else. |
