What is the point of moving him on to break the law elsewhere? Certain of the charges against the beggar relate to the occasionally aggressive behaviour of his dog, it was necessary for the police to separate them. The dog, which I understand was suffering from a number of underlying diseases, is now being cared for professionally and humanely and is in my respectful opinion far better off. The beggar could not have missed him that much, within a day or two of being arrested and bailed he was back begging outside the Fez Club (until re-arrested) ....with a borrowed dog! |
