| Ms Bond 'Of course I could do that but that wouldn't support the people who run the cafe in the park'. But what about all of the people that work in the plastics industry in some shape or form, or for Big Oil or simply have a pension that pays them partly with revenue from the plastics and oil industries ? Is their wellbeing not of concern to you ? The economics of our current society and what we want from it make the solution to this problem more complex than you seem to realise. |
