As always it was nice to see our flags at the Albert Hall without the fear of being classed as racist etc for waving them. There is a pride in the flag that is too easily rubbished by the Tommy ( whatever his name is) crew. A little irony in some of our traditional songs. Rule Brittania when we can't stop rubber dingys in the channel and Jerusalem when many of those singing were probably on the anti Israel pro Hamas marches. |
