Interesting. The last couple of times I went to the ENO before Christmas mask wearing was required, perhaps that's changed recently. All the theatres I've been to since Christmas have required masks, as did the ROH the three times I was there last week. True I didn't wear one for a gig at the Pheasantry at the weekend but its difficult to eat pizza and drink wine; however, the waiting staff were wearing them. Haven't been to the Tate for a few weeks but they RA and British Museum were requesting mask this year. I don't do football, but isn't that in the open air? As I say, it's about mitigating the risk when possible and not passing on the virus, not eliminating it completely - I do LFTs before going places. I suspect the rules might change soon but it's still a legal requirement to wear make on public transport. |
