Paul. I'd agree with your points about diet and the honesty of #10; and while I see nothing wrong with debating the vaccine programme one has to recognise that the hospitalisation and death statistics indicated that action needed to be taken quickly to curtail lockdowns and open up society and the restart the economy. The case for vaccinating children is open to more debate; possibly this is more to protect their grandparents? Anyway, is that necessarily a bad thing, I don't there's any evidence I've seen to suggest that vaccinating younger people is worse for them than catching Covid (and some younger people do die of Covid and have longer term effects even though in most cases younger people are less affected by it). Other vaccines given to children have not proved to be detrimental (polio, smallpox, MMR, etc) and have many benefits. |
