Actually, John, I don't think we're that far apart, just differing on the nuances based on our prejudices? I wouldn't dispute that Will Sweet spoke well, I just didn't think he engaged well with all the audience. Unfortunately for him, whereas in his council position he could shrug off or ignore those with personal issues, yesterday evening he couldn't do that. Obvioiuysly, that wasn't something the other candidates had to attend with. However, I hope we can all agree with Richard that Jonathan did a great job of chairing the meeting. I thought he was vary fair on timekeeping, I believe he stopped the clock when some of the audience were time wasting with essays rather than succinct questions? |
