Michael and Richard’s descriptions match my experience from the hustings the night before. I think Fleur is head and shoulders above Will, as a candidate, leaving party loyalties to one side. She would be a far more credible and ‘independent’ minded representative for Putney. She would stand up for her constituency in much the same way that Justine did, even if it meant opposing her own leadership. She is no ‘yes’ woman. Much stronger than that. |
