| I am surprised Jonty Nicholls that John and Nick haven't also requested that you retract the statement you made, but perhaps they are now immune to such comments from you. You have made far worse, after all. You refuse to accept the possibility that there may be valid reasons for the Charity Commission to investigate the WPCC - regardless of where the complaints come from. Do you think the Charity Commission imposed a comprehensive action plan on the WPCC on a whim? Have you read the action plan? Were you aware that the Charity Commision had told the WPCC if things didn't improve it would step in and take over the running of the charity? You refuse to accept that the WPCC has done anything wrong despite the large amount of evidence that makes its incompetence and dishonesty plain for anybody to see, including of course the Charity Commission. You also say that the charity's trustees should not contribute to the forum. I totally disagree. Trustees should be allowed to contribute to the forum - if they choose to. You appear to accept that a gagging order on trustees of this charity is perfectly fine and normal. It is not. In any case, the Charity Commission's action plan states that the WPCC must be more open and transparent and that it should communicate with levy payers particularly on important issues. I would say the loss by the charity of £1.5 million is about as serious as it gets. Not to mention the culture of bullying, shouting and screaming, physical threats - and lies. |
