| In a previous post I used the words " It could be that the Charity Commission, following previous agitation by FoPC, Evans, Cameron, A N Other has encouraged WPCC to carry on pursuing this issue, I don't know". By "A N Other", I was referring to no particular individual but to anyone who had been seduced by the local cargo cult and written to the Charity Commission supporting the conspiracy case. Shirley Gilbe has mailed me asking me to retract this statement, if it is meant to refer to her. I think it's great that Ms Gilbe doesn't choose to debate WPCC's affairs on this forum - none of her colleagues should - it would be inappropriate and in breach of her terms of engagement. So apologies in having to raise it here at all. So just to make it clear, this issue appears to be a waste of time and money to WPCC and a great distraction. Anyone who has encouraged the Charity Commission to pursue it, beyond its merit, falls under my criticism. If Ms Gilbe has not done this, then she does not. The affairs of WPCC are private - how am I to know? I guess you might call that a conditional retraction. Best I can do, in honesty. |
