| The legal fees are a P&L item, so we are running a large deficit currently. The reserves are being used for capital projects, but the commons and assets have been starved of investment for years. I think we've spent about 500k of the reserves. The welfare conditions of the staff are a disgrace, as are the club and changing facilities at the Richardson Evans playing fields. The reason the Windmill sail collapsed was due to lack of investment, the trustees kept patching it rather than spend the money, it sat in the Bank of Wales. I'm still waiting for the annual inspection report requested a year ago. When you think about the Windmill you can imagine my concern about the road at Putney Hospital. If someone is injured, the trustees are in the frame. I shudder when I think about the Windmill. The levy just about covers the payroll with a headcount of just over 20. Simon Lee promised a full business plan when he started in 2014; to include investment strategy, targets and and the like, costed and with a pink bow around it.
