I agree - 4th on the list is good and you will probably get a place soon. Just a bit of nail biting while you wait. And yes, you can go down on the waiting lists - have moved from 89th to 90th on one of my choices!!.....maybe I should pull out of that one! Am going to call after easter as the lists should have moved quite a bit by then, but was still 24th on the list when I called the other day! Having slightly heated discussions with my other half as he's so annoyed with the fact that we don't have a school place that he's decided we should move out to the country - he's printed off ofsted reports for schools and sent me a link to a lovely house near the station so he could still get in to the city. Really don't want to, as I love Putney and all my friends and the children's friends are here, but I am faced with the harsh reality that we can't get into any of the school we like and the only option if we stay here is to send my little girl to a school that we really are not happy with, or to fork out and go private - a very , very expensive option in Putney. I need a magic wand.....or a winning lottery ticket!
Good luck to everyone after easter - hope the waiting lists improve by then.
