| Dear Sandi, Where to start I have seen so many memorable bands at the Moon since I moved to London in 1976 when I lived in Clarendon Drive and Egliston Road. I the late 70s I used to frequent the Troubadour in Earls Court and the Halfmoon. I remember one Monday folk night at the Moon seeing a young singer songwriter who I had already seen the week before at the Troubadour playing to an empty room of about 10 people in Moon, and saying to my flatmate this guy will go far, who was it Declan McManus aka Elvis Costello. |
