| I'm not going to try and change your mind, Richard, and you are more than entitled to express your views on what constitutes good music. And I agree with you about the Brick. It's a cracking little pub and I often pop in there myself. I do have a slight issue with your "good riddance to it" comment, though. Ignoring what constitutes good music, talented musicians, appreciative audiences and everything else - if the Halfmoon stops doing live music there are wider social issues. People will lose their jobs (sound engineers, music promoters, door staff etc). There are also live-in staff who will lose their homes. Before saying good riddance to the Halfmoon, maybe have a little sensitivity and think about the bigger picture. |
