| I am sure you are right that Islamic countries are not all the same. Nevertheless they all seem to share an antipathy towards Israel. The two most populous Muslim countries, Pakistan and Indonesia, don’t even recognise Israel. A poll by the Henry Jackson society in 2024 of British Muslims showed that - a quarter don’t believe that Hamas committed murder and rape on October 7 - almost a half say the Jews have too much power over the UK government - almost a third favour the implementation of sharia law. |
