You and I are sufficiently politically sophisticated to understand the difference between Greenpeace and the Green Party.

But many are not.

And surely it is true that the Green Party under an earlier leadership had a major concern for the environment as the foundation of its political philosophy and as you point out carried out some smart 'political stunts' to bring this to the attention of the general public and win its support.

Now, under its current leadership, any even casual browsing of the MSM and other social media sites would find that its principle concern seems to be its attitude towards Israel and Jews in general.

Views that are highly partisan and verge, from the lips of some of its spokespeople and election candidates, strongly towards being antisemitic. (I leave you to Google some shocking examples of what they have said).

That is why I think the current Green Party is both a corrupted version of the original one and damages the cause the charity Greenpeace nobly fights for.

I would have hoped and expected you of all people to join me in despising them and their leadership.
