I am not sure there are qualifications available for people who wish to answer questions on foreign policy, but it seems to me that we should try to address difficult issues than avoid them by engaging in pointless invective.

It is true that Trump did not consult his NATO allies before intervening in Iran, but it cannot be a matter of indifference to NATO members that Iran has tried to destabilise the Middle East and is close to producing a nuclear bomb.

You state that Ivonne has answered the question about Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Has she? She wrote, ‘As  for Trump trying to force the Iranian regime to hand over its purified uranium and give up its ambition to build a nuclear bomb, that is also  questionable’. Ivonne is entitled to her opinion but it is an opinion, not an argument based on evidence. The fact that the talks last weekend stalled because Iran refused to hand over its uranium and insisted on its right to purify uranium in the future should be a matter of concern to the West.
