| Richard does come out with some nonsense, there are traffic jams on PHS and Putney bridge even at times when there is very little traffic. Cycling across the bridge is not fun either. There a bus stop right in the middle that no one can seem to explain. No one wants to get off a bus in the middle of the bridge it's a stupid location that also very windy. Having only one lane North on Putney Bridge is a big mistake. It's as if they have designed the Bridge to create congestion. TFL really need to make public their modelling for road layouts assuming they actually do any modelling. As for Hammersmith Bridge we can't waste half the national infrastructure budget on one bridge. It's time for it to go. Move it elsewhere and get a new bridge for 10% of the cost. |
