Thanks Ivonne, and following on from your comment, I ask the question who has benefitted from the changes at Putney Bridge? When I walked down Chelverton Rd, the traffic was so bad on Chelverton and PHS, the buses were queuing up to leave the bus station. You could feel the frustration from the car drivers and bus drivers. Earlier in the week, I witnessed more angry scenes in Disraeli Rd from drivers trying to turn right onto PHS. So buses haven’t benefitted, nor have pedestrians, nor have cars and lorries, so what was the point of the improvement? Who has benefitted? |
