| Mr Boyce Please elaborate. 'it's just more tit for tat killing'. A continuous cycle of retaliatory murders leading ever downwards.' By whom ? 'You call it what you want, I prefer to see it for what it is.' What does the 'it' refer to ? 'your myopic, one-sided convoluted argument' My argument is not convoluted and in fact very simple. "Israel has the right to exist. Hamas and other Palestinian groups do not subscribe to this belief and in October 2023 invaded Israel from Gaza and in a genocidal attack killed, raped and took hostage (still holding some) numerous women, children and the elderly. Israel, now involved in a racial war, quite legitimately retaliated to defend itself from further attacks. Israel somehow has been cast as the evil aggressor in this conflict, a view which I do not subscribe to. I too urge discussion and negotiation but do not believe Hamas and other Palestinian groups can be trusted to participate honourably nor to stand by any 'agreements' reached". Very straight forward points of view to my mind. What are yours ? |
