| Hi Caroline. You have my sympathy with the noise from parties etc. However, I must say that my experience of calling the noise line was completely different to your. They did turn up when called, but got no answer from the offenders who probably thought it was me knocking to ask them to turn the music down again. Two days later I received a letter from Wandsworth enclosing a copy of the letter they had sent the offenders about their noise, and reminding them about the term of noise in their lease. Funny enough I never had a problem from that day onwards. I must point out though, that this was five or six years ago, so maybe things have changed with the service. All I can suggest is to keep trying them. Really any noise after 8pm is supposed to be considered a nuisance, so try calling them earlier. Anyway, fingers crossed that you can get it resolved quickly. |
