| My only minor quibble with the proposed new location is its proximity to a traffic island in the middle of the road. Yes, I know, it is a red route, but there is a tendency for the occasional vehicle to stop for 'just 30 seconds' to allow somebody to post a letter, drop off a passenger, etc., and of course a postvan will need to stop nearby in the late afternoon to pick up parcels. If there is bad parking of this nature, longer vehicles on the South Circular may well have difficulties navigating the traffic island. Solution: move the traffic island further away? |
