| I agree Jean that back in the old days, the population wasn't as transient. Parents tell me that nowadays, pupils often leave and others take their place. This is one of the things that parents seem to dislike about their child's schooling: that it disrupts the class and their children lose their friends. When I was at school it was a real event when a new pupil arrived in class. |
