Steven

'The only constant in his political life is a deep desire to become prime minister. But to do what? In his victory speech he spoke of change. What change does he have in mind?'

Who knows ?

His big promise is to renationalise water and other utilities, though when lil 'Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero gets power, I assume he will permanently close down any off shore gas and oil production sites so that won't cost us anything.

Overall very light on any change in Labour's economic policy if such a thing exists.

Unless it's "Who can we tax to pay for more welfare"

Indicative of the state of the country is the fact that rather than any discussion on policy especially relating to the economy we are instead regaled with a Game of Thrones battle in the ruling Party between some very mediocre third rate politicians jostling to oust Starmer in order to crawl  into Number 10.

And Burnham is a classic example.

Depressing.
