https://www.putneysw15.com/default.asp?section=info&page=evrepaircafe2603.htm With several local Repair Cafes in the area and Dr Bike fixing bikes there are an impressive number of repairs keeping items in use for longer.  Sometimes it just needs a little bit of help and encouragement of someone with more know-how.  There are already quite a lot of videos giving help on the web.
